Fish market

This is the largest fish market in Korea.

The most intersting restaurants had fish tanks right at table

Some of the stalls had dried fish of every type...even stuff like mussels and squid.

Busan

Our hotel is at the end of Haeundae beach.

Food

The 'restaurants' were organized into different types of fish. There were some 'streets' that only sold eel, for example.

We ended up eating an octopus and shellfish. Placed the order, walked through narrow passageways to eat next to the water. Sat next to empty fish crates.

Moving food

Ate lunch by the beach...I had never had so much food that was still moving on my plate.

Orangutans

At the wildlife sanctuary withs lots of monkeys and orangutans.

Turtles

After waiting and waiting and waiting the turtles finally showed up.

This particular turtle layed 88 eggs. It did not seem to be bothered that we were around it, nor that the ranger was taking the eggs as they were being hatched.

The ranger immediately put the eggs in a hole in the hatchery where it will take 60 days for them to hatch.  As you can see they have hundreds of protected nests on the island.

After that the ranger released the turtles that were hatched today.

Philiphines

An island from the philipines is only 10 miles away.

Seoul Station and Tom's apartment.

24 hours in Seoul over...now to Kota Kinabalu

Stayed ata jjim-jil-bang in seoul:

www.DragonHillSpa.co.kr/hill/main01.htm

The place has no comparison to anything I have seen.

There is hot tubs, cold pools, saunas, steam rooms, etc. as nice as a nice spa.
There are restaurants, snack bars, hot pyramid rooms, ice rooms, hot tubs.
There is also McDonalds play areas for the kids. and this internet cafe with computers and games. All controled with RFID for billing
The really weird part is that when you want to go to sleep you just pick a corner anywhere and go to sleep in the floor. Literally had to walk over people to get here. Also I have lost Tom.
it cost $12 per night...really weird but apparently a lot of koreans stay at these places instead of hotels.

Breaking News: Tom Park has 2 earrings.
