Archery is the national sport...it is surprising they can hit anything
hundred of foot away.

The prayer wheels around the monasteries were interesting.

Tiger's Nest

Views were incredible...path carved into the hill in some places.

Look in the middle of the rock formation to find it.

Views from Paros

Visited a local house...they are all decorated in a similar alpine way.

Traditionally livestock likes in the first floor and the family in the
second floor.

Drukgyel

Another fortress...Bhutan reminds me a lot of Switzerland...very
unpopulated, large green mountains.

Went to the fortress, its old bridge, monastery, and museum

Landing in Paros, Bhutan

The landing in Paro, Bhutan was very interesting.

There are only 8 rated pilots in the world.

Basically it first involves a descending U turn between mountains in a
valley, then zig zag through the valley, with a final turn into final.

It is worth watching the video below... You an also see that Boeing uses
this airport for its maximum specs.

Disney Sea

Arrived in Japan. We went to Disney Sea the companion attraction to Disneyland.

Disney Sea was started in 2001 and is one of the most popular Disney parks worldwide.  The theme is nautical and apparently Disney is thinking of adding this attraction in California.

It was very full and we were very foreign :). Blonde count for the day was 4. We obviously looked foreign so at one point we were asked if we wanted our telepromter in Chinese or English :)

Weather was fantastic...sunny high of 70...we went on rides we had never seen before...downside was lines were incredibly long...there were even lines of 50 people to go into the stores!

Yet one more view of the Grand Hotel

Mackinac Island...only boat at the marina

Here is our customs agent...all by phone.

Against the wind

The night had waves and winds from opposite directions (25 knots and 2 ft waves at anchor)...it was hard to walk across the room. Afraid to fall off from the bed.

At 430 anchor alarm went off...dragged for 500 feet, but luckily reset.  Waves and wind agreed after that...so slept good.

Now we are motoring against the waves.
